Joseph K. Frehr Jr., 75, of Coleman, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 18, 2019 at an area hospital.
Born Sept. 13, 1943 in Illinois, to Joseph Sr. and Elsie (Edelbeck) Frehr, he was raised in the Marinette County area and served in the United States Navy. On March 26, 1976, he married Violet Linduska in Marinette and she preceded him in death in July of 2014.
An over the road truck driver for over 40 years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking sight-seeing drives. He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club and past member of the Catholic Parish in Grant, Mi.
Survivors include five children and their spouses, Frank (Trisha) Frehr, Deborah (Gregg) Lindquist, Lindy Frehr, Katrina Frehr and John (Anna) Frehr; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet and a grandson, Christopher Frehr.
Friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 801 George Street, Crivitz on Saturday, June 1 from 1:30 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Veteran Honors will follow with burial in Middle Inlet Cemetery.
