Heavy Rain"A strong storm on Monday, July 15 produced heavy amounts of rain and strong winds in much of Marinette County. In some areas over 6 inches of rain was reported. Winds knocked down trees and limbs throughout the area with some trees pulling down wires. Top Photo: The Jeanne Lange property on County Hwy. D sustained tree damage as the storm passed through on Monday. Lange reported that the ash tree that fell was planted over 50 years ago by her late father Claude Drewery. She also stated that rain had filled her ditch with over three feet of water during the storm.
