A Celebration of Life for Margaret "Peg" (Reynolds) Neilio, 67, of Menominee, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Elks Lodge, 430 Bridge St., Marinette at 2 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.
Born July 1, 1951 in Long Island, N.Y., she was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Whitnall High School in 1969. She married Bill Neilio in December 1974 and they lived in Milwaukee until moving to Greenfield Center, N.Y. where they raised their family for almost 20 years.
They returned to Wisconsin for a short time before settling on the shore of Green Bay in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where she worked for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
She enjoyed music, traveling, walking running, sailing kayaking, swimming, camping reading, gardening, quilting, yard work and raking the beach, but mostly her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Bill Neilio; a daughter, Sarah (Neilio) Francisco of Williston, Vermont; a son, Nick Neilio of South Korea; a son-in-law, Steve Francisco; two grandchildren; six siblings, Maureen Bakken (Bud), Bob Reynolds (Sandy), Eileen Reynolds, Kathleen Heming (Bruce), Brian "Rocky" Reynolds (Crisse), Tim Reynolds (Mary); six sisters- and brothers-in-law, Pat Reynolds, John Neilio (Mary), Pat and Judy Neilio, Jane Dantinne, Pete Neilio, Paul and Chris Neilio; nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Jean Grube and many more friends.
Along with her parents, John and Marcella (Binder) Reynolds, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Reynolds.
