Doris (Dora) Borkowski, 98, of Oconto Falls, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, surrounded by family.
Born April 8, 1921, to the late John and Gusta (Tachick) Dora, she married Chester Borkowski on July 22, 1950 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1990. She worked at Supercharger in Milwaukee, Country Gardens in Coleman and Coleman Products. She moved to Oconto Falls in 1997.
Surviving are two children, Jerome (Colleen) Borkowski, DePere and Bonnie Telford, Oconto Falls; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a family friend, Ken Coppens.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Dora and Dave Dora; three sisters, Lucy Ziemer, June Shevy and Violet Salesky and a grandson, Chad Telford.
The family greeted relatives and friends on Monday, Sept. 30 at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Coleman from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Mark Kostreva officiated with burial in First Baptist Cemetery in Pound.
