Marilyn Grace (Bergfors) Leverich, 79, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 at her home.
Born Dec .23, 1939 in Chicago, Ill., to Arnold and Irene (Bates) Bergfors, in 1979, she married her high school sweetheart, Gerald Leverich and they later divorced. She then married James Randall Sr. Years later, she and Gerald found their way back to each other, remarried and spent many years together.
She worked as an executive secretary at Scott Paper Company and specialized in computer programming, working at Sears in Chicago and AOL all while raising her family. She enjoyed gaming, cooking, knitting, crocheting, gardening, playing in her Country Western band, conquering challenges and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include five children, Michael Leverich, Linda Leverich, Cathy Retzlaff, Jennifer Anderson and James L. Randall; four step-children, Gerald Leverich, Timothy Leverich, Victoria Leverich and Rebecca Groth and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Gerald Leverich and James Randall; a daughter, Deborah Leverich; a grandson, Soren Smith; a brother, Roy Bergfors and a sister, Kathleen Leonard.
Family will receive friends at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Monday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Rev. Mark Laatsch will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements.
