James F. Frederick, 75, of Marinette passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 7, 2019 with his wife, Cindy and sister in law, Sue providing loving care. He was born on Sept. 27, 1944 in Milwaukee to the late Earl and Marcella (Prohuska) Frederick. He served in the US Army and worked at American Motors - Datsun and Marinette Marine. He married the former Cynthia Bertrand on Jan. 30, 1993, at St. James Lutheran Church in Marinette.
He enjoyed shooting pool, camping, music and playing his guitar who he referred to as his "Ole Lady".
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; a daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Wierzba; son, Terry of Wausaukee; two grandchildren; sister, Beverly Romp (special friend Bob) of Melbourne, FL; mother-in-law, Leah Bertrand; sisters-in-law, Donna (Brad) Constine of Marinette, Susan (Rick) Wieting of Crivitz; and brother-in-law, Michael (Merrily) Bertrand of Marinette.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; brother-in-law, Thomas Romp; father-in-law, Robert Bertrand; and a sister-in-law Lisa Crowley.
Visitation was held from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday, Nov. 9th at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette, followed by the service.
