Silver Cliff Fire, Rescue Christmas Party Dec. 9

The Silver Cliff Fire and Rescue Auxiliary (SCFRA) at its monthly meeting and fall luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the town hall, heard reports from the secretary, treasurer, correspondence, sunshine, scholarship, funeral dinner, and shirts and things officers and/or chair. An audit will be conducted of the Treasurer's books by two auxiliary members.
Dee Farley presented an update on the 2020 Centennial Celebration for the Town of Silver Cliff.
Members signed up to decorate and wrap gifts on Dec. 6 at the town hall for the Children's Christmas Party Dec. 7. The next meeting is the Christmas Party on Monday, Dec. 9 at Rapid's Resort at 11:30 a.m. Exchange gifts can be valued from $10 to $15, but not a Christmas ornament or decoration.
The winter luncheons are Wednesday noon, Jan. 8, Jungle Jim's; Thursday, Feb. 13, Rapid's Resort at 11:30 a.m., and Monday, March 9 at Rustic Inn, and all members are encouraged to attend.
For the Deer Hunter's Bake Sale on Nov. 22 at Jungle Jim's, bring baked and canned goods by 8 AM. Sue Vandenberg and Barb Van Boxtel will price items when they arrive.
