Kathleen "Kathy" Marie (Payne) Kehoe, 70, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 at home.
Born Dec. 13, 1948 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Clarence "Peanuts" and Violet (Zenisek) Payne, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1967 and married Timothy M. Kehoe on May 3, 1969. Prior to their divorce in 1998, they shared 28 years of marriage and were blessed with three children. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2010. She worked at many different businesses including: Vernco (Emerson Electric) and K-Mart in Menominee and Stein Garden and Gifts, Children's World and McDonald's in Green Bay.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, baking, playing games with her grandchildren and family vacations, but was happiest when she was with family. The family was blessed to share three recent vacations, including nine days in Estes Park, Colorado in summer 2015, Glacier Park, Montana in summer 2017 and in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Gardiner, Montana and Yellowstone National Park in summer 2018. She had many health challenges as she aged and her spirits were lifted by visits from her three grandchildren. On the day of her passing, she spent the day with her family celebrating Thanksgiving and the last words exchanged with her family were "I love you".
She is survived by three children, Kristin (Michael) LaBouve, Darrin (Brianna) Kehoe and Kelly Danielewski; three grandchildren; a brother, James (Patricia) Payne; a sister, Barbara (Robert) Heim; 11 nieces and nephews and her step-mother, Grandma Ruth.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Friday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Deacon Chuck Gervasio will preside with burial in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
