Helen June (Meyers) Harper, 85, of Marinette, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 at home, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
Born June 6, 1934 to the late Albert and Mildred (Peterson) Meyers, she married Robert R. Harper in Marinette on Oct. 27, 1957. They moved to Milwaukee and Madison where she worked as a Beautician, assisting her husband through Engineering school. They moved to Rhinelander in 1963 where they lived for 23 years and raisied four children.
They returned to Marinette in 1986 where they lived since. She worked for many years in Rhinelander and Menominee at Snyder's Drugs which became Osco and then CVS Pharmacy. She loved to travel, especially to visit family, her greatest joy.
Devoted to her faith, she was a longtime active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; three sons, Mike (Sara), Steve (Natalie) and Scott; a daughter, Kristen (Mike) Baxter; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Rose Paris and Judy McMahon.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Chase and two brothers, Joe and Duane.
Visitation will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Friday, Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kenneth Michaelis officiating. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
