On November 8, 2019 Chassie suffered a fall from a stoke or seizure while she was at home doing dishes. Tests showed that she had Stage 4 ALK cancer - 10 Tumors on her brain as well as a spot on a lung. Due to the location of the brain tumors surgery was not an option.
