Robert (Bob) Edward LaComb, 80, of Menominee, Mi, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at home, after battling cancer.
Born on Dec. 24, 1939 at St. Frances Hospital in Escanaba, Mi., to Napoleon and Florance (Miller) LaComb, he married Aileen Hall on Oct. 4, 1975 in Escanaba. He retired June 19, 1998, from Ansul Tank in Menominee.
He loved fishing, riding his moped and playing horseshoes, but especially had time to visit with everyone and never knew a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Aileen (Hall) LaComb, Menominee; 10 children, Robert (Ronda) LaComb, Soo Hill, Mi., John (Rachel) Mower, Portland, Or., Terry (Bonnie) LaComb, Tunas, Mo., Becky (Jeff) Johnson and Melinda (Apollo) Berg, both of Menominee, David (Connie) LaComb and Bobbie Jo LaComb, both of Peshtigo, Tammy (Eddie) Martin, Marinette, Caroline LaComb, Wausaukee, and Pamela LaComb, Crivitz; a brother, Raymond (Judith) LaCombe, Wells, Mi.; a sister, Marlene (Allan) Rivard, Escanaba; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton and Lloyd and a daughter, Mary.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 27 at North Shore Church from 11 a.m.until time of the services at 1 p.m.
