Yvonne (Von) May Busse, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born Feb. 21, 1937 in Whitewater, to the late Stuart Guernsey and Virginia Dennis, she married Irving Busse in 1954 and they started their family while moving about with the United States Army.
She was a stay at home mother to seven children, but enjoyed her nights out bowling with friends.
The couple operated The Rustic Inn, in Silver Cliff, for several years, where she made new friends and stayed busy working and playing Bingo. She had a green thumb and she loved to watch the birds and deer at her front yard feeder. Due to failing health, she lived the last eight years at New Care Residential in Crivitz. Her great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by three children, Douglas J (Denise) Busse, Delbert C. (Kelly) Busse and Barbara L. (Todd) Tobison; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irving J. Busse and four children, Dale I. Busse, Daniel F. Busse, David L. Busse and Irving C. Busse.
Visitation will be held at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m.
