Karen Kasbohm, 63, passed away Tuesday, March 3 from natural causes at her home in Stephenson, Mi.
Born Feb. 9, 1957, she resided in Norway, Mi. with her adoptive parents, Curtis and Ethel Bracket. After graduating from Norway High School she attended Bay College for Nursing. In 1979 she married Harvey Kasbohm Jr. and lived in Carney, Mi. for over 35 years.
She loved crossword puzzles, reading, playing video games, board games, shopping, watching TV and time with her children and her grandchildren. She made Christmas a special time of year for her family. Her most recent joy was finding out who her biological family was and where she came from.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey; two sons, Nicholas (Kylie) Kasbohm and Curtis (Shelly) Kasbohm, both of Carney; a daughter, Stephanie (Ryan Lenzner) Smith, Antigo and six grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her biological mother; her biological father and step-son, William (Billy) Oakes.
Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi. from noon to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, followed by a luncheon.
