Marion M. Jenko, 93, of Kelly Lake, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 surrounded by family.
Born July 1, 1926, to the late Roney and Esther (Gieske) Mills in Sheboygan, she married Jacob Jenko on Sept. 20, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They raised their family in Sheboygan and she was a homemaker most of her life.
After retirement, they moved to Kelly Lake where she worked at Romy's Holiday Inn. She enjoyed time with her family, playing cards, going to the casino, yard work and tending to her flowers. A good cook, her family will miss her pasties, potica, and homemade pickles.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Jacob; five children, Jacob (Ann) Jenko, Gary (Doddie) Jenko, Jeanne Soukup, Judy (Steve) Western and Joan (Kerry) Harder; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Caroline and Carmoline; a brother, Reuben; a daughter-in-law, Cherie Jenko and a son-in-law, Jim "Ticket" Soukup.
Per her wishes, no services will be held. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established.
