Charles Valentine Buelteman, 76, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at home.
Born Feb. 14, 1944 in Menominee, to the late Gust and Barbara (Daniel) Buelteman, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1962. On Aug. 7, 1965, he married the former Clara Johnston at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He worked at LE Jones for over 40 years doing many jobs through the years.
He enjoyed farming and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Together they raised a large family and his greatest joy was being close to them.
He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Clara; three daughters, Christina (Tim) Hanson, Mary Pichette and Charlene Demerath; three sons, John (Susan) Buelteman, Robin Buelteman and Jesse (Taryn) Buelteman of Florida; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Marcella Marcin; a brother, Robert Buelteman and many other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
