Donald J. Schultz, 84, of Lena, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his wife and family.
Born Jan. 26, 1936 in Milwaukee, to Lester and Harriet (Rolczynski) Schultz, he worked at S & B Manufacturing for many years and then Frigo Cheese, which was bought out by Saputo Cheese, where he retired from in 2001.
On June 21, 1958, he married Sharon Krueger and they had three sons, Gregory, Donald and Robert and a daughter, Angela. On March 7, 1986, he married Patricia Nelson (Verstoppen), who he nicknamed, "Schultzy" and they spent 34 years together.
A loving husband, father, step-father and a kind man, he was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, loved joking with people and teasing his grandchildren. He will be remembered by his grandchildren for his Donald Duck impression. He enjoyed country music, western movies, gardening, dancing at the Stardust and going on casino trips.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a brother, Melvin; former wife, Sharon; four children, Gregory (Rowena), Donald, Robert (Ellie) and Angela (Archie) Beavers; four step-children, Leroy (Teresa) Nelson, Carl Nelson, Paul Nelson and Connie (Bryan) Nelson; 13 grandchildren with one on the way; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ken and Edward and a sister, Delores.
