Issue Date: May 6, 2020
Dennis W. Hazaert, 57, of Crivitz, WI (During Hunting Season he resided in Wallace, MI), passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born in Green Bay, WI on July 30, 1962, to Alice and the late Richard Hazaert. Dennis married his soulmate, Susie Milbach, on August 4, 1998.
Dennis was a kind and generous soul who made everyone smile. He graduated from Denmark High School in 1980. He was an excellent carpenter and created many wonderful pieces for his family.
He was an avid hunter who had a successful hunt every year and was the envy of his fellow buck hunters. Dennis and his wife Susie worked in three gardens every year and helped feed many people. Dennis was also a volunteer firefighter and fire chief for the Town of Stephenson. He was always one to help others. His absence in our lives will be felt every day.
Dennis is survived by his lovely wife, Susie; his children: Andy and Jordan; his step-children: Mike (Kristy), Chrise (Tony), Becky (Adrian) and Johnny (Michelle); his 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He had nine siblings and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard, and his brother, Dick.
Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home is assisting the family. A celebration of Dennis' life will be held this summer when the COVID-19 Pandemic subsides.
Special thanks to the Twin Bridge Rescue Squad. You went above and beyond to try to save Dennis. Also thank you to Aurora Bay Area for accommodating our family at this difficult time.
