Dale R. Goldschmidt, 77, of Wagner, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at home.
Born Oct. 4, 1942 in Marinette, to Albert and Muriel (Zander) Goldschmidt, he lived in this area most of his life and graduated from Wausaukee High School in 1961. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Panama. On Sept. 7, 1968, he married the former Linda Limberg and worked at Scott Paper Co., later Kimberly Clark, until retiring in 2003.
He enjoyed the outdoors, loved deer and duck hunting with family, fishing and gardening, but especially loved time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Community Lutheran Church in McAllister.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; two sons, Jason (Sam) Goldschmidt and John Goldschmidt; a daughter, Jessica (Travis) Watson; two grandchildren; a brother, Jim Goldschmidt and a sister, Marlys (Ken) Limberg.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary; a sister, Sharon and a brother-in-law, John Messenger.
Due to public health requirements, a private family service and burial will be held at Community Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Hueter officiating. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
