Lowell S. Duenweg, 57, of Pembine, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 in Green Bay as the result of an accident.
Born Aug. 29, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nv., to Stephen and Fay (Johnson) Duenweg, he was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 400 and loved the Union Brotherhood.
An avid bird hunter, focused on grouse and woodcock with his dog Rukus, he could also be found working on woodworking projects, cutting firewood and stacking it in unique piles. He enjoyed trap shooting at the Dunbar Sportsman Club where he shot for years. A laid-back, caring man, he was a jokester always with a smart comment to say and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; two daughters, Sierra (Taylor Carlsen) and Savannah Duenweg; his father, Steve; a sister, LaRae Brekke; his mother-in-law, Sheryl Potier; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Julie Potier, Ken (Carol) Potier and Mari Jo (Craig) VanPembrook; 10 nieces and nephews and three great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Fay; father-in-law, Roger Potier and dear friend, Brian Mayhew.
Due to our current pandemic, an outdoor visitation and service will be held on the Church grounds, (weather permitting). Family is asking those attending to practice safe social distancing and bring your own chairs. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 27 at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon with Pastor Kayla Keilholtz officiating.
