Issue Date: July 1, 2020
John Michael Steinhofer, 62, of Silver Cliff, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his home.
Born Jan. 1, 1958, in Milwaukee, to the late George and Barbara (Griswold), he graduated from Menomonee Falls High School and worked in sales for United Plumbing and Heating in Milwaukee and Warehousing for Dama Plumbing and Heating in Crivitz for much of his life.
He loved the Green Bay Packers and was a loyal fan even when they weren't doing well. He relocated to his "happy place" at his cabin in the North Woods in 2013 where he was thrilled to live there permanently.
He loved his family, Friday fish fry, a good card game and Sundays watching football and winning an occasional Packer pool. He will be remembered for being the life of the party, making friends wherever he went, his laugh, quick wit and great sense of humor.
Survivors include two children, Gregory (Kelli) Steinhofer, Austin, Tx. and Glen Steinhofer, Grafton; four siblings, Robert (Patricia) Steinhofer, Green Bay, Jane (Todd) Reimer, Neenah, Philip (Susan) Steinhofer, Ashwaubenon and Janet (Ralph) Ewert, Hartford; two grandchildren; his former wife and mother of his sons, Patricia Steinhofer; cousins; nieces; nephews and friends.
Per his wishes, he did not want a funeral, but friends and family are encouraged to visit his memorial page and fund to share stories and memories: https://everloved.com/life-of/john-steinhofer.
