Kenneth W. Fischer, 78, of Suring passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.
Born Oct. 30, 1941, to the late Adolph and Elda (Wesner) Fischer, he graduated from Suring High School in 1960, where he earned an award for perfect attendance. He worked at Packerland Packing in Green Bay for 35 years before retiring.
He enjoyed playing softball, deer hunting and picking blackberries, but he especially had a big caring heart and loved helping people.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelly McCowen (Drew Bulecza) of Lincolnton, N.C.; three siblings, Herb Fischer, Darlene (Norbert) Skarban and Arlen Fischer and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy Fischer.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Friday, July 24 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m., with Pastor Bill Krauss officiating. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
