A powerful fast moving storm with high winds and heavy rain passed through the Klondike area early Saturday morning, July 18. The storm was strong enough to move a barn off it's foundation and damage it along with destroying a building at the Klondike Church. Numerous large trees were also broken in half and uprooted. No injuries were reported during the storm. High temperatures and high humidity were factors with the storm.
