Gerald "Jerry" F. Jandt, 72, of Peshtigo passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020.
He was born January 14, 1948, to the late David and Marjorie (Naessens) Jandt and was a life-long member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
Jerry was a cowboy at heart, a risk-taker and had a true zest for life. He was well known for dirt bike and dirt track racing at Crandon and was a member of the Artic Cat Snowmobile Racing Team. He enjoyed hang gliding, farming and cruising on his weekly routes selling his vegetables. Most of all he loved the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Jerry will be greatly missed by his children, Adam (Amy) Jandt and their children, David and Mercy; Allison (Joe) Matzke and their son, Will; Jerod Jandt, Jessie Jandt and Tori Jandt; his sisters, Debbie (Tim) Rennes and Pam (Mark) Paplham; his brother, Jim (Diane) Jandt and his nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private family funeral service was held. The burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo assisted the family.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the Rennes West staff and caregivers for their support and compassionate care shown to Jerry over the past ten years.
