Wausaukee Board To Meet August 17

At its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, Wausaukee Village board will consider requests from Kim Marsolek, on behalf of Wausaukee Business Association, for the annual $200 Connect Communities membership dues and permission to hold the third annual Christmas in the Park event in Evergreen Park Campground again this year. The board also is expected to set Halloween Trick or Treat hours.
Bids for drain basins from Core and Main and quotes for installation of catch basins in the alley behind Family Dollar are to considered, as is a quote from Barley Excavating to replace storm sewer beneath the Roubal Funeral Home parking lot.
The board is also expected to consider enrollment in the Wisconsin Public Employees Group Life Insurance plan.
Village President Pat Tracy is expected to announce that a public hearing and Plan Commission meeting will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24 in regard to a conditional use permit application submitted by Dollar General for a building on commercial property in the village.
