Carol J. (Wesolowski) Philipps, 68, of Porterfield, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born Jan. 19, 1952 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Peter and Martha (Schahczinski) Wesolowski, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1970 and married Wendell Philipps on Nov. 4, 1972 at St Mary's Church in Sobieski.
She is a member of Ss. Joseph and Edward Parish in Walsh and the CCW. She enjoyed bird watching, camping, gardening, baking, cooking and loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wendell; two sons, James (Jennifer) of Marinette and Joseph (Christine) of West Bend; three daughters, Jean (Adam) Stelchek of Stevens Point, Julie (Mike) Loberger of Marinette and Jenny (Dr. Matt) Smith of Pewaukee; a sister, Marcy (Joe) Smith of Wallace and 11 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hope; an infant brother, John and a brother, Leonard.
A visitation will be held at Ss. Joseph and Edward Parish on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jess Berdol officiating. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery in Sobieski. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
