Lottie K. Szymusiak

Issue Date: November 5, 2020

Lottie K. (Pazynski) Szymusiak, 103, of Peshtigo passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at Rennes Health Care Center-East.

Born Sept. 2, 1917 in Marinette, to the late John and Katherine (Marek) Pazynski, she graduated from Marinette High School. She married Joseph A. Szymusiak on Dec. 29, 1933 in Marinette and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1993. She worked as a hostess at the Dome in the 60's and at a grocery store at 1429 Shore Drive, but mostly loved being a homemaker.

She enjoyed painting, crafting, gardening and was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Hess of New Holstein; a son, Dan (Mary) Simon of Oregon and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Bernard and Henry; five sisters, Catherine Klodnoski, Mary Ann Peck, Helen Halron, Alice Drees and Florence Magnuson and a grandson, Steve Hess.

Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
