Jerome A. "Jerry" St. Peter, 82, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at The Bay in Oconto.
Born April 9, 1938 in Menominee, to the late Joseph and Irene (Gamlin) St. Peter, on Dec. 14, 1961, he was drafted into the United States Army and served until being honorably discharged on Jan. 29, 1963. He worked as a machine operator and assistant lead man at L.E. Jones for 45 years and also ran a tire business part time since 1980.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling many nights a week and volunteering for the Menominee Animal Shelter raffle.
A member of the Menominee Area Credit Union, he served on the credit committee and also American Legion Post 146, DAV Chapter 125, Elks Lodge 1775, UAW 566, C.A.P and was chairman of the L.E. Jones retirees group.
Survivors include two sons, Jason (Sara) St. Peter and Ken (Alina) St. Peter and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Kell Funeral Home in Menominee on Thursday, Nov. 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
