Helen Beatrice (Lentz) Kostreva, 100, of Pound, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
She was born to the late John and Emily (Frievalt) Lentz July 14, 1920 in Pound. Helen married Edward Kostreva on September 27, 1941. The couple lived in Chicago until retirement in 1972 when they moved to Pound.
She was a good Christian woman and enjoyed cooking, canning and spending time with her family.
Surviving are 4 children, Dianne (Robert) Schlenbecker, Dale (Cecelia) Kostreva, Karen Prange and Rodney (Kathi) Kostreva; 12 grandchildren, Laurie, Bob, Michael, Danny, E.J., Dana, Russell, Greg, David, Steve, Jilane and Philip; 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; son, Edward "Butch" son-in-law, Greg Prange; grandson, Eric Kostreva and granddaughter, Hannah Schlenbecker.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Luther Home and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.
