Georgia Mae Nagel passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2020.
Born June 26, 1933 in MacAlester, Ok., to George and Mabel Nagel, soon after, they moved to Winslow where her parents owned Nagel Lumber and Timber Company. She graduated from Winslow High School in 1951 and married Robert Jenkins. She received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Montana and later earned a Master's in Education from the University of Arizona.
She taught first grade and Chapter 1 Reading for 30 years at Washington School, was devoted to her students and always loved seeing them later in life. Currently she was living in Wisconsin with her family. She was "the life of the party" and enjoyed telling a good joke or sharing a story.
Survivors include a daughter, Gina Sepp; a granddaughter, Shelby (Ryan) Best and great-granddaughter, Rory and many, many friends.
Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by a brother Jim.
