Millie (Pleshek) Oreshoski, 89, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at The Harbors.
Born Dec.10, 1930 in Marinette, to Frank and Margaret Pleshek, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1949 and married Joe Oreshoski on June 18, 1949 at St. Williams Church in Menominee. She worked at Menominee Area Public Schools in the hot lunch department and also for the Marinette Elks.
She belonged to Holy Spirit Church, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 and St. Anne's Society.
Survivors include six children, Mary Jo (George) Gruenther of Burlington, Ia., Steven (Vickie) Oreshoski of Portland, Or., Fr. Gary Oreshoski of Phillip, S.D., Linda Marx of Green Bay, Toby Oreshoski of Menominee and Suzanne (Jeff) Jones of Round Rock, Tx.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many good friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; seven brothers and a daughter-in-law, Donna Oreshoski.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Fr. Gary Oreshoski and Fr. Abraham Mupparathara presiding, followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee assisted the family with arrangements. Memorial donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
