Sandra "Sandi" Faye (Raygo) Desotell, 82, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Born Oct. 3, 1938 in Marinette, to William and Rosa (Zeimer) Raygo, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1957. She married Robert (Bobby) Desotell on March 8, 1958 in Aire, Ma. before he left for overseas military duty. He was the man she knew she would marry after he first kissed her. His mother and best friend were attendants.
She treasured family and friends but especially had a place in her heart for her grandchildren, who she had a unique relationship that made each one feel special. She enjoyed organizing fun gatherings for family and friends, attending lunch with her girlfriends, playing bingo and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Robert F. Desotell; their twin boys, Brian (Gay Nell) Desotell and Bruce (Julie) Desotell, and their two daughters, Cheryl (Terry) Konell and Julie (Brandy) Drum; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sister, William Raygo Jr., Robert Raygo, infant, Gary Raygo and Judith Kloida.
Friends may briefly visit at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Facial masks are required for everyone's safety.
