
Rosemary R. BasakIssue Date: December 2, 2020 Rosemary Ruth (Fabiszak) Basak, 85, of Coleman, WI, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 28, 2020, while surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemary was born in Beaver, WI on January 17, 1935, to Stanley and Mary (Culver) Fabiszak. She worked for twenty-nine years in the nursing field. She received numerous nursing degrees and certificates from the University of Green Bay and Sister Kenny Institute of Minnesota.
In 1952, she met the love of her life, Alphonse John Basak at a dance at Equity Dance Hall in Pound, WI. They wed on February 14, 1953 and enjoyed 66 years of marriage before Alphonse passed in 2019. They lived in California, Illinois and returned home to Wisconsin where she lived for the last forty-nine years in Coleman.
In the last year she traveled out west crossing off a number of items on her bucket-list, resting and enjoying the sights. She enjoyed spending time with all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Diana Rose (Mark) Roach of Oxnard, Ca; sons, Stanley Valentine (Jayna) of Menominee, MI., Alphonse John II (Mary) of Crivitz, WI And Joseph Wayne (Janice) of Mosinee, WI; daughter, Dawnamarie Aniella (Ronald) Coel of Tigerton, WI; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Agnes (Wayne) Herder of Grafton, WI; sister-in-law, Mary Fabiszak of Crivitz, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse John Basak; a son, Charles William Basak; parents, Stanley and Mary Fabiszak; brothers ,Martin Fabiszak, Charles and sister-in-law Janice Sindberg; a sister, Ellouise and a brother-in-law, Ervin Boerschinger.
Family will greet relative and friends Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Mary's Church, Crivitz, WI. from 10 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. There will be a closed-casket visitation at the Church. Rev David Schmidt will officiate and burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Crivitz. Pallbearers are Mark Roach, Anton Basak, Joseph Basak, Clark Basak, Stephen Cherry and Lonnie Sobeck.
