THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Santa and Mrs. Santa Visited Equity Hall Sunday
Issue Date: December 22, 2020
On Sunday, Dec. 20, Equity Hall hosted Santa and Mrs. Claus for the afternoon. They stopped by before heading back to the North Pole to prepare for present delivery on Christmas Eve to good little boys and girls. Welcomed with holiday music, kids and adults alike smiled with joy as soon as they saw the jolly Santa waving from the beautifully decorated Equity stage as they entered the hall. They heard Christmas present wishes from many children as they handed out goodie bags. Parents and kids were treated with candy canes, cookies and hot chocolate. A full menu was available with many families enjoying lunch together in the hall.
A special thank you to Judy Krueger and Karen Pelner for their time and contributions to decorating the stage at Equity into a winter wonderland; Vonda Vanrossum for preparing the hot chocolate and making delicious food for the event; Ken and Kelly Van Drisse for the use of Santa's Chair and candy donation; and to Rosie Nowak, Monica Halverson, and Cindy Polzin for helping to decorate, providing cookies and candy, and running the event. Finally, a very special thank you to Tom and Sandi Rhode for their generous time and commitment to making children smile ear to ear during the Christmas season.
Equity will be open on Christmas Eve starting at 4 pm and again on Christmas Day at 4pm. Join Equity on New Years Eve with hats, horns, snacks and fun as we ring in 2021! On New Years Day, Equity will return with their famous fish fry opening at 4 pm.
