Janet M (Gabriel) Queever, 72, of Marinette passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 at home with family by her side.
Born May 29, 1948, to the late Bernard and Margaret (Peterson) Gabriel in Marinette, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1967. On Aug. 12, 1967, she married George "Ozzy" F. Queever in Marinette and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1988.
She worked at Emerson Electric for many years, Tradewinds Restaurant for over 20 years, KSU and Rennes Health Centers. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, sewing and crafting.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel (Jennifer) Queever and Thomas Queever and a daughter, Pam (Scott) Anderson, all of Marinette; two brothers, Ken (Renee) Gabriel and Kevin (Linda) Gabriel; five sisters, Margaret (Roy) Randall, Jane (Rich) Robenhorst, Kathy Johnson, Carol (Pat) Schomaker and Judy Badalamenti; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, George, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be at Holy Family Parish Social Center, 2715 Taylor St Marinette on Saturday, Jan. 2 from 11 a.m. until time of prayers at 1 p.m. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
