Ronald J. Bader, 73, of Marinette passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at Moraine Ridge in Green Bay.
Born May 2, 1947, to the late Cyril and Marjorie (Bell) Bader in Oconto Falls, he attended Coleman High School. On Sept. 5, 1970, he married Beverly Kuehnau at St. Joseph's Church in Marinette and she preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 2016. He had worked for the City of Marinette for over 30 years, retiring in 2010.
He enjoyed playing volleyball, baseball, and even played basketball up in the haymow, but especially loved fishing, hunting and sports. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Coleman Sportsman's Club.
He is survived by a son, Tommy (Jenny Kubiak) Bader of Peshtigo; a daughter, Trina (Chris) Johnson of Suamico; two grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby (Darlia) Bader of Green Bay, Glen (Doris) Bader of Appleton and Dennis (Margaret) Bader of Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, Carol (Joe) Baldwin of Mountain, Kathy (Kevin) Moellar of Pulaski and Susie Maye of Marinette and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Beverly, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral services at 1 p.m., with Deacon David Denby officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Home Mausoleum in Marinette.
