
John J. DanielakIssue Date: January 6, 2021 John J. "Jack" Danielak, 83, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at The Harbors after a brief illness.
Born Feb. 24, 1937 in Hamtramck, Mi., to Zygmunt and Rose (Sajewski) Danielak, he married Lorraine Marie Ertman on July 28, 1971 and she preceded him in death on Sept. 30, 2014. He served in the United States Army in Germany and then worked as an Electrician for General Motors until retiring.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, 50's music, Hallmark movies, being on the water, the Detroit Lions and Red Wings and watching his grandchildren's sporting events. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his children, Kathleen Peruski, Kevin Danielak, son-in-law, Kevin Hardy, Ronald Peruski, Michael Peruski, Tami and Randy Roberts, John and Jeanie Danielak and Colleen Pacquin; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Kenley Riley; a sister, Shirley Wojt; a sister-In-law, Florence Danielak and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; a daughter, Donna Hardy and two brothers, Bob Danielak and Zygmunt "Dan" Danielak.
Family services will be held this summer in Killeen, Tx., where he will be interred next to his wife at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
