Shirley M. (Miller) Lentz, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at home in Wisconsin Rapids after a long illness.
Shirley was born on January 27, 1933 to Otto and Nita Miller in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. She married John P. Lentz, celebrating 67 years of marriage in August 2020. Shirley was an administrative assistant for the Nekoosa School District before her retirement.
She enjoyed her family, pet dogs, flower gardening, feeding wild birds, reading and wintering in Lakeland, Florida with her husband John.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Marcella and Marion; her brother, Russell Miller and a niece, Shirley Beaudo-Littlejohn Kramer.
Shirley is survived by her husband John; two children, David (Jeryle) Lentz and Lana (Mike) Peters; five grandchildren: Robin Kampo, Karen Lentz, Derek (Jenny) Lentz, Laura (Jamie) Middleton, and David (Joanna) Peters; six great-grandchildren: Zaden Kampo, Levi Kampo, Zach Middleton, Katelyn Piette, James Piette, and Brandon Lentz; nieces and nephews: Linda Miller, Mark Miller, Sue Kane, Barbara Gravedoni and James Nelson. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws: Margaret Lentz, Alice Lentz and Noreen Miller and many other great-nieces, nephews and cousins.
