Andrew Paul Kokott, 92, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.
Born March 22, 1929 in Arcadia, to the late Paul and Mary (Marsolik) Kokott, he graduated from Arcadia High School and served in the United States Navy. He later married the former Sylvia Caldie and they celebrated over 70 years together.
A carpenter by trade, he could build and fix almost anything. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and he was an avid fisherman, but his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; a son, Paul Kokott; four daughters, Jeanne Taylor, Mary Kokott, Doris (John) Slawik and Julie Englund; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven sisters; one brother and two son-in-laws, Chris Taylor and Michael Englund.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
