Bonnie (Johanski) Borowitz, 72, of Athelstane, formerly of Green Bay, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center, Bay Area in Marinette due to Pneumonia.
Born Aug. 23, 1949 in Green Bay, to Harold and Doris (Williquette) Johanski, she attended West High School in Green Bay and moved to Athelstane in 1983. She married John "Jack" Borowitz in 2003 and they were married for 18 years until her passing. Together, they enjoyed cooking, road trips and yard work.
She enjoyed bon fires with family and friends, planting outside flowers, house plants, reading, going to the lake one mile from her home and her dogs.
Survivors include her husband, John; three sons, Terry (Barb) Van Hoosen of Green Bay, Brad Van Hoosen of Athelstane and Cory Van Hoosen of Marinette; two step-sons, Joe (Katie) Borowitz of Oconto Falls and Ed (Rachel) Borowitz of Green Bay; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Beverly (Joe) Van Tatenhoven from Athelstane.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Heiman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
