I am 65 years, my husband is 80, and we worked hard all our productive lives until we retired. Yet, our fixed retirement income of Social Security and pensions is just a few thousand above federal poverty level.

It was Easter just yesterday. Mothers Day was a few minutes ago, and now Fathers Day is just around the corner...Sunday, June 16, in fact. June Dairy Month is half over. Last weekend we showed respect for those that had lost there lives fighting in wars for the freedom that we have in this Counrty. We also honored those that have served their Counrty in all branches of the service and are no longer with us. There were flags along streets and new flags by the graves of veterans in cemetery after cemetery. Memorial services were held every where.
