Funeral services with full military honors were held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay for James Jim W. LaBlanc, 64, of Green Bay, with Lay minister, Jeff Johnson officiating. He died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 19 at a Green Bay hospital.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Ruth Burnette) White was born May 20, 1944, in Marinette. He served in the United States Army and was a truck driver all his life.
Among survivors are a son, Michael (Caron) LaBlanc of Michigan; a daughter, Mrs. Scott (Michelle) Czech of Krakow; four grandchildren; his fiance, Karen Allen of Green Bay; brothers and sisters, Marie Smith, Tommy LaBlanc, Eddie White, Donna Harrison, Sally Hardwood, Bobby LaBlanc, Sandy McDaniel, Gary White, Linda Slaven, Barb Maloney, Beverly Van Lanen, Duane White and Kevin White. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald LaBlanc.
