
Richard J. Fuelle Funeral services for Richard James Fuelle, 66, Pound, were held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. Pastor Solvieg Zamzow officiated with burial at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Marinette. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Bay Area Medical Center Cancer Foundation, Marinette.
He died Saturday, Jan. 3 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette.
Born Nov. 19, 1942 in Marinette to Howard and Arvilla (Gaudette) Fuelle, he graduated from Coleman High School in 1960 and resided in Pound all of his life. On May 2, 1964 he married the former Wanda Wachal.
He was employed at Marinette Marine for nine years before starting his own family painting and sandblasting business in Pound. He semi-retired in November of 2008. President of the Lake Noquebay Sportsman’s Club, he was a member of the Lions Club and Kumalong Snowmobile Club and was a Hunter’s Safety instructor.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Wanda; a son, Scott Fuelle and special friend Ann Delzer of Pound; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Arvilla Fuelle of Pound; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Leanne) Comins of Green Bay, Mrs. Gary (Linda) Tachick of Montana; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Poquette and Ginger Wachal, both of Menominee, MI.; many nieces nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; a brother, Ronald; three brothers-in-law, John Wachal, Robert (Violet) Wachal, Harvey Poquette; special uncle, Lee, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Bernice Wachal.
