THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
From our readers
Residents of the Town of Brazeau, are you getting tired of our supervisors spending money too foolishly? We live on Pickerel Lake, where there is a public walkway. Our supervisors had part of it surveyed and 10 posts with signs put on them to show the walkway.
Now our supervisors voted to have 10 more posts and signs put up. This walkway borders our property and two disgruntled neighbors want a fence to border the walkway and our property. We have lived here about eight years and the walkway gets used by four or five people monthly.
To us, this seems to be a waste of taxpayers dollars. There is one complete section of this walkway that was not in the survey and is used as a road to three cottages. We seem to be discriminated against.
If anyone has questions, call us.

Letter to Editor:
A letter of thank you to those who helped CJ Pillath have a fantastic year in track.
First, his coaches, Mike Lipinski, Ron Szwet and Keith Long, who, because of their many years of expertise and experience, were able not only to teach correct methods but also able to correct mistakes. Their biggest talent was when CJ had a bad throw, they would calm him down and make a positive out of it.
As an old coach, I sat back and stayed out of the picture and knew he was in good hands. Thats tough to do as we all remember being more of an expert as time goes by.
Also, a big thank you to his teammates who encouraged him, especially Kollin Kempka, who worked with CJ even after his season was over. And a thank you to many area coaches, parents and fellow athletes from opposing teams who encouraged him. By the end of the season, it was like a family cheering him on.
As grandparents, we couldnt be more blessed. And, our grandson is also blessed to be in a program with great coaches, all with positive attitudes.
