THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Early Voting Starts, Will End On Nov. 2
Voters began voting early Monday, Oct. 22, for the Nov. 6 election. Early voting is known as in-person absentee by going to the office of the local clerk in your municipality. It is just like casting your ballot on Nov. 6. However, it must be done by Nov. 2.
Early voters should check with their municipal clerk for office hours.
If you apply for an absentee ballot in your municipals clerks office, you must vote immediately, seal your ballot in the proper envelope, and return it to a member of the clerks staff. No ballots may be taken from the clerks office.
Remember you can only vote once.
If requesting an absentee ballot by mail, your application must be received by the clerk not later than 5 p.m. the Thursday before the Nov. 6 election in order for an absentee ballot to be sent to you. Such ballots must be completed and postmarked no later than Nov. 6 and received by the clerk no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, to be counted.
