11 Attend Even Monday Cards
Eleven persons gathered for the Even Monday Card Party on Dec. 10 at the Stephenson Town Hall. Light refreshments were brought by Betty Rogalski, Carol and Frank Jackson, Colette and John Twardowski, Barb Dunlop, Len and Carol Jarosz, Sue Collins, Lois Huebner and Ileen VanDeWalle.
Under new business, sheepshead table will take over kitchen/lunch committee for the next four months. The rotation for the responsibilities will be every four months instead of a year.
It was agreed that a donation will be given to the two area food pantries and Twin Bridge Rescue Squad. Barb Dunlop will end her year as secretary and contact person and pass it to another member.vThere were no December birthdays. Lois and Bob Huebner celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. The door prize was won by Betty Rogalski.
Winners in bridge were Lois Huebner and Sue Collins; sheepshead was Frank Jackson; and in thirty-one, Colette Twardowski.
The next card party will be Monday, Jan. 14 at the Stephenson Town Hall. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Pot-luck refreshments will be served and a $1 donation is requested to cover expenses. Newcomers are welcome. Individuals may join already formed games or bring own group. For more information, call Marge Brown at 715-757-3100.
