Marinette Male Stabbed Jan. 1
A 36 year old Marinette male was stabbed early Tuesday morning, Jan. 1, at the Dunlap Square Apartments, 1713 Dunlap Ave. Currently he is in St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, with life threatening injuries. A 22 year old male suspect was arrested in the same building and is currently lodged in the Marinette County Jail on multiple charges.
The Marinette Police Department reported police were dispatched at 4:42 a.m. for a disturbance at 1713 Dunlap Ave. Upon arrival, officers found the 36 year old male with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to BAMC and then flown by Eagle 3 helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital.
Names of the victim and suspect have not been released pending charges from the office of the district attorney. Investigation continues.
