30 Attend Active Seniors Meeting
The Active Seniors of Marinette County met on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Crivitz Village Hall with 30 members present.
President Barb Duchateau called the business meeting to order and the pledge to the flag was followed by a Merry Christmas and a friendly handwave among members. December birthdays were celebrated by Esther Dreweskie, Dennis Oehldrich, and Gary Richter and the anniversary of Leo and Karen Trepes was recognized. There was no sunshine report.
Karen Trepes read the secretary's report and Dennis Oehldrich gave the treasurer's report. New business was a motion to donate $50 to the Village of Crivitz for use of their hall for meetings. Under old business it was decided to discontinue sponsoring bingo at New Care home.
Dick Westein won the cash door prize and Kim Wakayama and Connie Holysnski donated Christmas decorations and candy as door prizes. The next meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 15 with brown bag/beverage for lunch. Card playing followed.
