Coleman Clobbers Crandon
Jumping out to a commanding 40-11 halftime lead, the Coleman girls clobbered Crandon Thursday afternoon 67-29. The Cougars used a pair of 20 point outbursts to build up that huge lead at intermission before closing out the win on a 21-18 spurt.
Abby Bieber topped Coleman with 26 points, 10 in the second and third quarters. Makenzie Sadowski added 16 points, 10 coming in the first quarter, Sammy Schaal 11 and Lindsey Kerr 8.
Sara Cotnell was the lone Crandon cager in double figure scoring with 16 points.

Visiting Wabeno got off to a 16-5 first quarter lead and never let up in turning back Niagara Friday 60-43.
The Lady Logrollers saw Ceanne Harrison pop in 10 of her 15 points in the opening frame while Gloriann Waubee netted 21 points for the game and Stephanie Prasser 11.
The first quarter hurt us...came out flat and with no intensity, Niagara coach Laura Gunderson said.
Wabeno owned a 29-15 halftime lead and upped the margin to 42-24 at the end of three periods.
Brooklyn Wolosyn topped Niagara with 22 points, 14 coming in the fourth quarter, while Kaitlyn Lundin chipped in with 14.
The Badgers connected on 14-58 shots (24%) and held a 29-25 rebounding edge.
Wabeno found the mark for 20-48 shooting (42%) while adding on 18-32 free throws (56%).

In a classic holiday mismatch, Peshtigo fell behind 34-13 at intermission and never recovered in falling to host Little Chute Friday 53-25. Over the final two periods the Bulldogs were outscored 19-12.
Carly Dietrich scored 7 points to lead Peshtigo, Shannen Ganter 6 and Amanda Emmes 5.
Abbie Botz fired in a game-high 26 points for the winners.
