Coast Guard Auxiliary Plans Boating Course
The Coast Guard Auxiliary Marinette/Menominee Flotilla, in cooperation with Nestegg Marine of Marinette will present a Boating Skills and Seamanship Course on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. from March 5 to March 28. The course is designed to provide the essential information and skills needed for safe boating.
It is DNR approved to comply with the age specific requirements for the legal operation of power boats and personal watercraft, now mandatory in Michigan and Wisconsin in 2013.
The fee is $50 in advance, checks payable to USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 04-07 or cash only, with discounts available for friends and family who wish to share a textbook. Students 18 and under receive a discounted course fee of $25, including the textbook.
