Fish-O-Rama On High Falls Feb. 9
The 38th annual High Falls Fish-O-Rama will be held on Saturday, February 9 on High Falls Flowage, just off Boat Landing 3 Road, on the Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile Trail 12 miles north west of Crivitz.
Parking on land is available and the event is sponsored by the Twin Bridge Ski Team.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the largest fish in each species with fish entry tickets purchased for $5 at Popp's Resort, Tall Oaks, Hook Line & Sinker, T&B One Stop and at the Fish-O-Rama.
Fish registration ends at 3:30 p.m. There will be an ice fishing shanty decorating contest.
A snowmobile radar run on an 800 foot long track will be held from 9 am to 4pm with registration starting at 8:30. Trophies sponsored by Renes Dining Room, will be awarded for top speeds in all classes including non-studded, studded, stock, modified, improved, Kitty Cat, and antique snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATVs.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 with cash prizes, including $1,000 for first prize, awarded on the ice at 4:30 p.m.
Paddle wheel prizes, donated by area businesses, will be awarded from noon to 4 pm with food and refreshment sold in a large heated tent beginning at 11am.
